On the 23rd-24th of January the world’s first Hip Hop political party hosts a 24hrs global cypher in collaboration with the Afrofuturism & Black Speculative Arts Movement (BSAM).
DJs & MCs from around the world will be representing for the election warm up of Die Urbane. Eine HipHop Partei on that special weekend.
Because the 24th of January is ‚The World Day For African And Afrodecendant Culture‘ – which has always and continues to shape and broaden and influence our thinking.

No standing still, no forgetting George Floyd, Oury Jalloh, Breonna Taylor, the racist murders in Hanau, no silence about Moria and the many who drown in the Mediterranean gravesea – it’s a long list but we won’t give up! In these times, unity and Empowerment and resilience are more important than ever.
But how can we get together despite Corona?
Our answer: Art! Our solution:
A 24hrs stream with artists from all over the world, with DJ sets, performances, poetry and dance. The aim is to show solidarity in our struggles and to draw particular attention to the current situation of many artistic people. We want to develop strategies for the preservation of art and culture during and after the Corona pandemic.
Art and politics go hand in hand, which is why we are also using the 24hrs Global Party as a kick-off for the 2021 election.
